DIY Bathroom Cabinet from "Upcycle That"

Ok....so I will be moving in a couple of months and I want to decorate a new place with DIY style.  ^___^

I was looking for ideas and found this awesome Bathroom cabinet done by Upcycle That. I am going to do this one for sure. I need to check out where I can find a nice old window. So excited!

Here's their Link to this project if you want to check it out!  http://www.upcyclethat.com/diy-bathroom-cabinet/6446/

DIY Jewelry Box

Don't throw away your Chocolate Boxes!

I was going to make a video of this but I got a little lazy. This is more of an idea than how-to-do instruction so you can take the idea and be creative.

GODIVA chocolate boxes are perfect for storing tiny precious jewelries and accessories. Boxes themselves are very well made and sturdy but what makes these boxes so special is the sectional plastic tray. It gives individual jewelry pieces to have their own space avoid clumping.

PLUS, you can make an awesome looking jewelry box after treating yourself with delicious chocolates.

This is the final look! I added a tiny figurine as a lid handle. I love this little guy.  :D

MATERIALS:

STEPS:

Paint the figurine (optional): Totally optional step! If you choose to paint it, use any media. I used nail polish because I had an old one in color that I wanted.

Let's decorate the insert paper layer: You need to keep the insert paper layer because it adds protective layer between the box and the plastic tray. If you are missing this paper layer, you can use a thick cardboard paper instead.

Box Lid Decoration: I used glitters to add little spark in my jewelry collection but you can use anything to decorate the lid. Decorative tape can be fun too as well as pictures or paper stocks.

Let's revisit our little guy: Since I used nail polish to change the color, I added one more step to give it a little more shine using top coat.  ;)

Time to attach the little guy: Once again, you can use any objects of your choice for lid handle. Or you can skip it and keep it simple.

Hope you enjoyed it and like my idea!  If you get to make your own chocolate jewelry box, share your creations with me on here. I'd love to see yours!!!  ^____^
